Amazing Approach Angles, Light But Strong, New Compact Winch & More - Industry First!
Most people know us for our unique approach to hybrid front bumpers for Toyotas. Take our super-popular 3rd Gen Tacoma Hybrid Bumper... We build super-strong bumpers that don't look like everyone else's.
With the launch of all the new-gen Toyotas, we were eager to design some armor. We started with the 3rd Gen Tundra Hybrid Bumper, then the 4th Gen Tacoma Hybrid Bumper, and then the 6th Gen 4Runner Hybrid Bumper.

As 2026 comes to a close... We're stoked to announce a brand new line of bumpers (starting with the 4th Gen Tacoma) that we've called our "Stinger Edition". The approach is simple. Keep the weight/material down (without compromising strength) and get the most clearance.
We saw a lot of low-profile options, and a few full-width ones already on the market. But they all had us feeling like we needed something different. We wanted something even lighter, with insane approach angles. But it still needed to easily handle a tough recovery or being bashed on the rocks.
So, let's take a closer look at our latest drop. We're super proud of it, and we've got some really neat features on this one!

Let's take a look at some of these a little closer...
Super Slim Profile

Looking from the top down, you can see how closely we followed the body for this bumper. The tubing is tucked very close the body with minimal protrusion. This dramatically improved the approach angle.
Filler Plate

The front filler plate bolts to the rest of the bumper. This allows access to the winch, your wiring, etc. If you ever damage it, we can easily replace it.
Bull Bars

If you like the look and function, you can add two different bull bar heights. The truck featured in this post is running the 4" one, but we also offer a 10".
Both of them come with the Pod Mount Bracket, which you can see above. It features several cutouts to accommodate a wide range of possible light combos.
New Winch Option From Superwinch

Alright... you saw it here first! The Superwinch Scorpion is a newer option on the market.
We built around this winch mainly because of its size. When you try to build a bumper that cuts down on material, the winch often becomes a limiting point. A 10K winch can be pretty cumbersome. So when we heard about the new Scorpion, we decided to incorporate it into our design.
Plenty of compact power, an internal control box (no relocation needed, and all the features you want/need like synthetic line and a wireless remote.
TSS & Parking Sensor Compatible

Newer Toyotas have many sensors and your bumper design should be compatible with them. The Stinger works with both your center TSS sensor and the four parking sensors. We relocate them all for a smooth installation and optimal, error code-free operation.
Mounting & Frame Supports

We do not mess around when it comes to mounting plates and frame reinforcements!
We've seen our fair share of poor designs and mounting options. We use 1/4" steel here, and both horizontal and vertical bolts on the frame plate. This strengthens the area in multiple directions. To top it off, we include our standard frame support bracket. Some options don't even give you the choice to buy these. We say they are non-negotiable. This notoriously weaker area of the frame needs to be protected from bending and deforming.
We can say with confidence.. this bumper ain't going nowhere.
Lighting Options

The standard non-bull bar bumper has room for two lights in each hybrid wing. One pair of Baja Squadrons and one pair of S2s (or comparably sized lights). As you can see above, the build running our first finished bumper was able to mount four more S2s in the center section.
The bull bar version also has brackets, as outlined earlier.
Closing Thoughts

The key takeaway? You don't have to compromise strength by building an ultra-high-clearance bumper.
We've stayed true to our roots. A unique build, incorporating a new generation of winch, and the aesthetics that have always drawn people to Lil B's Fabrication.
This bumper gives you ridiculous gains in approach angle and ultimately performance. All while keeping your front end working right and protected. Whether you're an overlander looking to save weight, or your truck sees heavy use in the rocks, the Stinger Edition will be right at home on your rig.
We'd love to hear your comments and feedback.
